We had a snow day earlier in February. Dad was in school, so Hailey and I ventured around the back of our apartment without him. Hailey was only 10 months old when she experienced her last snow fall, so this was super exciting to her.
Hailey had a blast making footprints in the snow. She thought it was so hilarious that she would step and there would be a footprint there.
I loved spending some time with my sweet girl, witnessing her curiosity and awe when she experienced the snow.
I felt bad Travis missed out on playing in the snow with Hailey. We were so excited when it snowed again a couple days ago. Travis and Hailey were excited to play in the snow. I opted to hang at the back door taking pictures.
Travis started off with teaching her about snow angels. Hailey was very concerned about her dad laying on the ground.
When Travis laid Hailey down for her turn, she just laid there stiff with a panicked look on her face. Maybe next time. haha
Every once in a while they would turn to the window and wave. It was cute.
The snow was super powdery, but Travis managed to make one snowball for Hailey.
She loved it.
They gave up on the snowballs and started throwing the snow. Hailey had a blast.
They made their way to the front of the house. Travis taught Hailey a life lesson and they shoveled the sidewalk together. Hailey was giggling the whole time.
They came inside to find some freshly made hot chocolate.
What a fun day!
