The Bullock Bunch at the Beach

We've been at the Oregon Coast since Saturday. My parents rented a beautiful beach house that also has a lake behind it. The Bullock Bunch minus Drew and Ashley are here. We wish they could've made it, but you can't travel so much when you're gettin to the last little bit of pregnancy. So we don't blame her for not being here. We can't wait to meet little baby girl Wright. And then little baby boy Bullock follows soon after. So fun!

Anyways, we've been going to the beach everyday-jumping the waves, throwing around a frisbee, and skim boarding. Tis so fun! Last night we put on wet suits and got in the ocean pretty far. (The west coast beaches are pretty cold, so we wore wet suits.) The waves were big and I'm a little baby when salty water splashes me in the face. So I didn't last long. But it was still fun. The people that we arranged to watch Lyla while we were gone ended up not being able to take her. Something came up, and we totally understood. We ended up sticking her in a kennel here in the beach town we're staying in. My mom chose a house that was dog free. (I'm sure by accident, right? Haha) We picked up Lyla from the kennel for the day yesterday. She had been 2 and a half days without seeing us. When she saw us she was just whining and whining. Almost like a little kid crying 'cause they're so happy to see their parents. Travis says she was just telling us about her experience at the kennel. She whined for probably 15 or 20 minutes straight. Haha. I felt kinda bad. But we took her to the beach and she was in heaven! She loved running through the sand and even went in the water. I was so glad she could experience it. We'll definitely pick her up and take her again another day.

The other day we went to a lighthouse. It cost $2.50 a person to go inside, so we just took pictures outside it. Lame, huh? It was beautiful and we got some good pictures. The men went crabbing today. They didn't catch anything they could keep. They have to be male and a certain size to keep. If they're female or small they have to be thrown back. We're having loads of fun and it's only been a few days. We still have until Saturday. Here are a few pictures of our adventures thus far.

CAUTION: Construction Man Working

Well it's been over a month since I last posted. I think I've waited long enough. So here's an update. Travis has been working with a construction company this summer. They build potato cellars.

It's super hard, laborious work and a I appreciate him for doing it. He works 6 to 6 everyday (except Sundays). And the site is a half hour away. So he's gone from 5:30 to 6:30. And sometimes longer. But wanna know something ? He is one SEXY construction worker. I never really agreed with my friends growing up that construction workers were attractive. They just looked dirty and sweaty. Ewwww gross. But then my husband came home the first day covered in dirt and sweat and my eyes about popped out of my head. Awoooooga! I know he doesn't enjoy the work, but I enjoy seeing him come home. ;)
Sexy, Right?
=)
He was wearing bandaids. Dirty dirty.

And we're almost done working. Next Thursday we'll both be unemployed! Woohoo! We're going to the Oregon Coast with the fam and after we are headed back to Rexburg for Travis to finish his VERY LAST semester. Then in January, we are headed to Kansas City. Life is so stinkin exciting.
