Our friends invited us to join them for an easter egg hunt today. Their daughter is about Hailey's age, and they always have a good time together. We each scattered some eggs around their backyard and let the girls free. Hailey started off pretty slow. She found one egg and was satisfied. She kept taking it out and putting it back in. Once we showed her there were more eggs she could gather, she got the hang of it.
Hailey even wanted the ones in Kinsey's basket.
Kinsey was so nice to contribute to Hailey's stash.
Of course Hailey had to stop in the middle and blow some kisses.
I love that beautiful face.
Oops!
And then the fun part, eating the treats! (fruit snacks, goldfish, kix, and marshmallows)
It was a successful first easter egg hunt.
