Oh Baby Baby

Well, the news is out. We're expecting a little one in March. We're beyond excited to extend our family. A lot of people were surprised when we announced we were pregnant. I've wanted a baby for about a bijillion years. And this summer, after much prayer, Travis and I agreed that the time was right.

So far, the pregnancy has been pretty unreal. It doesn't seem like it's really happening. My stomach is growing, but very slowly. Pretty much only I can see the difference. I've been nauseous in the mornings and when I brush my teeth. Travis has been so good to me! He's always doing things to ease my troubles or let me rest when I'm tired. He's going to be such a great dad.

Our wee little babe is due March 14th. We saw him/her at the 10 week ultrasound and heard his/her heartbeat a few days ago. Those are the moments when it seems so amazing and real. I wish we could see and hear that everyday. We find out the gender on my birthday, October 9th! I'll be 17 and a half weeks along. So close! But for now, enjoy the pictures we have of our wee little babe. :)
